Hey there! I’m Rikki-Lee, a mum to two amazing kids, a whole lot of fur babies, and the fiancée of the “funny guy” you might meet if you book an event or photoshoot at Scenic Moments Homestead (let’s be real, he helps make it all happen! 😉).
I was born and raised on the Gold Coast until four years ago when my partner said, “Let’s move to the country and buy some land!” I thought, why not? – not realizing at the time how much it would completely change my life. People told me, “You won’t like it, it’s not for you,” but fast forward to today, and I couldn’t be happier living this incredible lifestyle.
Creativity has always been my passion – organizing events, capturing special moments through photography, and making memories with my family and animals. Most days, you’ll find us out in the paddocks, riding horses, cruising around in the buggy, or just soaking up the peaceful beauty of our property.
That’s when it hit me – we are so lucky to live this life, and I wanted to share it with others! That’s how Scenic Moments – Events and Photography was born. Whether it’s a romantic pop-up picnic, a dreamy photoshoot, or a special event, I love giving people the chance to create lasting memories in this unique, peaceful setting. Sometimes, we all just need a little escape to reconnect, breathe, and enjoy the moment. 💕

Where are you located
All our picnics and events are located on private property in the beautiful Tamborine, scenic Rim at the Scenic moments homestead. Half way between Gold Coast and Brisbane
Photography 'farm sessions' are also located at Scenic moments homestead however, beach ,creek and field sessions are also available.
What is the process for making a booking?
Once you have a date in mind for either a Picnic or Photography, please contact us via our booking form, phone: 0413341864 or email: info@scenicmoments.com.au If the proposed date has the go ahead from us, we ask that you finalise the details with us. Once complete we are able to invoice you via email. It is once a deposit of 50% or the full amount is made that your booking is secured in our system. Without deposit no booking date is secured and thus can be given away.
A wavier is required to be signed upon arrival for all events and Photography sessions that are booked to take place on Scenic moments homestead.
What's included in the pop up picnics
Styling, Set Up, Pack Down, Tables, Rugs, Cushions, Decorations, Side Plates, Wine Glasses and Letter Board.
Add ons are available for a extra fee: GAZEBO, FRESH FLOWERS, CATERING, PIZZA OVEN, FIRE PIT, JUMPING CASTLE, PHOTOGRAPHY PACKAGE
What happens if it rains
PICNICS & EVENTS: The weather is something we can't control however we work with you in every way that we can to resolve weather predicaments.
we have umbrellas, gazebos and other undercover options that are available so you do not need to stress and your event can still go ahead.
you are free to postpone the event on ONE SINGLE occasion and ONE occasion only free of any charge. Provided the customer provides more than 72 hours notice for the reschedule. Keep in mind the rescheduled date is subject to availability.
PHOTOGRAPHY: you can choose to embrace the rain and get those beautiful candid shots or we will reschedule your session. If the forecast looks too wet.I’ll be in contact in the days leading up to the session to chat about our options.
What is your Photography Style
I am all about capturing those authentic and candid moments, with gentle guidance and direction for portraits and group photos. I want you to be your natural selves and I will capture the genuine love, emotion and connection between you and your family.
All sessions that are booked at Scenic moments homestead will have the opportunity to photograph with animals, although all our animals are very friendly and generally love to join in on our events and photoshoots, its important to note animals can be unpredictable and we cannot guarantee or promise the level of coopreration from them.
